New Residents FAQ's

Q: When is the garbage collected?
A: Garbage is collected every Tuesday and Friday morning. We do not use wheelie bins in Jabiru. Instead householders may put out two standard garbage bags per household per collection, preferably in garbage bins to prevent animal intrusion. Garbage bags must be intact and sealed properly. Loose garbage in bins will not be accepted, nor will garbage that shows evidence of maggots or insect infestation.
